Using the research question and two variables your learning team developed for the Week 3 Business Research Project Part 1 assignment, create a no more than 350-word inferential statistics (hypothesis test). Include:
(a) The research question
(b) Mock data for the independent and dependent variables
Determine the appropriate statistical tool to test the hypothesis based on the research question.
Conduct a hypothesis test with a 95% confidence level, using the statistical tool.
Interpret the results and provide your findings.

With the introduction of vodka brands on the rise, consumers tend to conduct research when shopping for a vodka to use and drink. Team E has taken on the task to conduct research on vodka trends. The team is looking into the correlation between age and last vodka brand purchased. The team will review and present the dependent and independent variables involved and develop a hypothesis. To start, the team will present a research question.
Research Question
When looking at the research question, Team E has decided to look at the correlation between the age and the vodka brand preferred. The following is the research question:
1. Is there a direct correlation between a person’s age and the vodka brand they prefer?
To answer this, Team E had to determine the variables that would be reviewed during the research. The variables being considered are the age range of the individual and the brand of vodka they last purchased.
